Spring is here this week, the kids are out of school and Easter is around the corner. It's a time to postulate good thoughts you want to grow and spring forth in your life.

 I was worried I would have the jitters, but I didn't, I just had great energy. I bought the organic apple juice, frozen fruit, and fresh fruit. In the morning I had a smoothie for breakfast and lunch. If I was on a trip I would buy some organic juice and mix it with the cleanse powere in a battery operated mixing glass/cup (I purchased the cup at GNC). Fun little gadget.
 I also bought squash, cabbage, mushrooms, red onion, garlic, and spinach. I made a stir fry of veggies, brown rice, and put it in containers for the week. I also baked some organic chicken in a bag with onion and garlic. During the day-while at work I made sure I had....Boiled eggs organic carrots and vegetables (in prepared little bags)
and ate salads with lots of goodies I also put apples, oranges, blueberries and strawberries in containers to grab and go.
Lots of water. hot tea and honey to curb the coffee craving. worked out (not vigorously) at least three to four times a week. 
My boyfriend Jon, did the same thing. He ate chicken and steamed veggies and prepared brown rice for the week so he could quickly grab it mix with the veggies and chicken.

It never fails to amaze me how Doc's here in the US err on the side of caution when it involves a simple vitamin, but are all gung ho when it's a "New Drug" that needs to be fast tracked.  It makes me wonder, Natural or Chemical. hmmmm.......

Healthy Recipes

This is a cleanse soup recipe
Broccoli/Cauliflower Soup
1-2 cups broccoli, chopped
1-2 cups cauliflower, chopped
1 cup cucumber juice or veggie broth
1 avocado ( off cleanse can use 1/2 cup soaked almonds)
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. Curry powder
1 Tbs. lemon or lime juice
1 Tbs. Braggs Liquid Aminos
1/2 tsp. Real Salt
In a food processor or blender, combine the almonds with the cucumber juice or broth, and garlic. Blend well. With machine still running, add the broccoli and cauliflower and blend until smooth. Lastly blend in seasonings and lemon/lime juice, Bragg Aminos and salt. Add more broth or water to desired consistency.
 
Variation: Use this recipe for salad dressing.

As a colon hydrotherapist, I have learned about the importance of fiber as it pertains to colon health.  At least 25-30 grams a day will provide the soft bulk that is needed to stimulate the efficient movement of toxic waste matter through the colon (by a wavelike motion called "peristalsis"), and as a result, helps to prevent constipation and reduce the risk of degenerative conditions of the colon such as diverticulitis, polyps, colitis and colon cancer.
